TRANS-BRIDGE PACKAGE EXPRESS SERVICE

PASSENGER PARKING

Rt. 33 Park & Ride

Allentown Bus Terminal.

Hunterdon Hills Dinner Theater - Parking restricted to permittees only. Park between the Trans-Bridge Parking arrow signs.

LVIP Terminal - Parking is free of charge for up to 3 days. A Long-term parking permit is available for up to 30 days as follows: Daily Parking Rate - $5.00. Weekly Parking Rate - $30.00 (Rates subject to change). Prior to departure, permits must be purchased at the ticket office to park in Lot "L". All violators will be towed and ticketed at the owner's expense. Trans-Bridge is not liable for theft or damage to the vehicle while parked on our property.

Annandale Square - Parking restricted to Wall Street customers only. Park in the yellow lined parking spaces only.

Clinton Park & Ride

Phillipsburg Mall - Mall lot to the rear of Sears between the Trans-Bridge Parking arrow signs.

Branchburg - Park & Ride (Permit Parking Only - Contact Branchburg Township Clerks Office). When the Township Office is closed, emergency one-day permits are available at the Bagel Garden in Branchburg.

Doylestown SEPTA Train Station (Do not park in SEPTA lot; on-street parking only).

Flemington - LIBERTY VILLAGE LOWER COMMUTER LOT ( Free parking - not responsible for any damage to vehicles ).

Frenchtown Municipal Parking Lot - Bridge St. next to the Bridge Cafe.

New Hope - Parking lot next to The UPS Store in Logan Square.

Trans-Bridge Lines cannot assume responsibility for inconvenience, expense or damage resulting from errors in timetables or failure to make connections. Schedules are subject to change without notice. Trans-Bridge Lines is not responsible for formulating policies regarding rules, regulations and fares beyond its own lines.

LOST ARTICLES

Call the Lost and Found Department anytime at 610-868-6001, extension 788. Leave your name, phone number, description of the lost item, date item was lost, and the number of the bus you were on (if possible). A Lost and Found representative will contact you if and when your item is found. Their hours are 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. As items are found and turned in to the Lost and Found Department, they are logged in, labeled, and properly stored in a secure location. Items will be held for 30 days. It is important to note that all food and beverage items are immediately disposed of. Trans-Bridge Lines, Inc. is not responsible for items left behind on our buses or in the terminals.

CONNECTIONS

Full connections to all points, via all major bus lines may be made in New York City at P.A.B.T. For schedule information call (212) 502-2200.

HANDICAPPED PASSENGER ACCESSIBLE COACH

Handicapped passengers in need of an accessible coach can be accommodated with 48 hours advance reservations.

No food or beverages are permitted on the bus.

SMOKING

Smoking is Prohibited on Trans-Bridge Lines buses.

RADIOS

Radios or other sound equipment are permitted only when used with headphones so as not to disturb the operator or other passengers who may wish to relax or carry on quiet conversation.

CELL PHONE POLICY

Trans-Bridge Lines acknowledges the need for some limited use of cell phones with the following limitation: Turn cell phone ringers off and keep calls short. Use low tones of conversion. Above all, be courteous to your fellow passengers who may wish to read or rest undisturbed.

OBJECTIONABLE PERSONS

Trans-Bridge Lines reserves the right to refuse transportation or eject from the coach any person under the influence of intoxicating beverages or drugs or one whose conduct may be objectionable to other passengers.

ANIMALS

Service animals for disabled persons will be transported. All other animals are prohibited

BAGGAGE POLICY

Trans-Bridge Lines does not check baggage. However, for passenger convenience, passenger's baggage will be transported in the baggage compartment.

Any baggage stored in the baggage compartment, must be tagged with a legible name tag.

Passengers must identify themselves when picking up their baggage at destination.

All bags are subject to search and inspection.

Only hand baggage will be carried on board by passengers.

Bags not able to fit in the overhead compartments must be placed in the lower baggage bays.

Because of space limitations, we must limit each passenger to 2 suitcases and 1 carry on.

Trans-Bridge Lines is not responsible for lost or misplaced baggage.

Excess baggage costs must be paid prior to boarding and shipped as Package Express.

CASH FARES

Drivers sell cash fares only when the terminals or agents are closed, subject to the following rules:

Drivers do not carry money and cannot make change. Passengers are required to have exact fare when boarding buses on this line.

Surcharge will apply when buying cash fares.

Drivers sell one-way cash fares only. Cash fare Senior Discount Tickets, Children's Tickets or Round Trip Tickets are not available.

At Port Authority passengers can purchase tickets from the New Jersey Transit Ticket Windows 1-10.

CHILDREN'S FARES

Children will be transported as follows:

(A) One child, under 2 years of age, when accompanied by an adult paying a full adult fare will be carried free so long as they will not occupy a seat to exclusion of another paying passenger.

(B) Children, ages 2 thru 11, will be charged sixty percent (60%) of the regular adult fare when accompanied by an adult paying a full fare.

(C) All children 12 years and older are charged the regular fare.

(D) All children 13 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

SENIOR CITIZENS AND PASSENGERS WITH DISABILITIES

Senior citizens age 62 and over, are eligible for reduced fares on all scheduled runs with proper identification. These reduced fares apply only to trips with a New Jersey or New York City destination or point of origin including PABT, Newark and JFK Airports. Persons with disabilities must present a NJ TRANSIT Reduced Fare ID or Medicare Card to obtain a reduced fare. For more information contact the main office of Trans-Bridge Lines.

REDUCED FARES FOR ACTIVE MILITARY PERSONNEL & THEIR DEPENDENTS

Passengers presenting Military ID cards, either Active Duty, Reserve, or National Guard, for Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, or Coast Guard, are permitted to purchase transportation at the Reduced Fare (Senior Citizen / Passengers with Disability) rate.

LIMITS

One-way tickets and round-trip tickets are valid and refundable within 6 months from the date of sale. No refunds after the ticket expiration date.

COMMUTER MULTI-RIDE TICKETS

10, 20, 30 and 40 trip Multi-Ride Tickets are available at all ticket locations except Port Authority Bus Terminal and Newark Airport. Tickets may be purchased by telephone or fax at our main office at Trans-Bridge Lines. All Multi-Ride Tickets are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. An extended expiration period of 3 business days is given on 30-trip books and 4 business days on 40-trip books. Tickets will not be accepted if detached. All requests for refunds must be made within 30 days from date of purchase.

REDEMPTION OF TICKETS

Partially used roundtrip or commuter book tickets will be redeemed at the difference between the fare paid and the service actually performed at the one-way fare.

There will be a 75¢ service charge on all unused tickets except commuter books. On commuter books, there will be a 5% charge on all unused tickets.

HOLIDAY SERVICE

Holidays - New Year's, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Holiday schedules will be changed to meet the demands of passengers for each holiday. Timetables will be reprinted before each holiday or schedule supplements will be available or call for schedule information.

TRANS-BRIDGE PACKAGE EXPRESS SERVICE

Ship your parcels to and from New York the Trans-Bridge way. Package express shipments consist of large boxes, bicycles in crates (Bicycles not boxed will be accepted for the $7.00 flat fee, but the passenger must also sign a release slip absolving the carrier from any damage which may occur during transport.), appliances, televisions, etc. and must be pre-paid. Any one package in excess of 100 lbs. will not be carried. All packages may be shipped and claimed in New York City at the Greyhound-Trailways Package Express Counter in the ground level, west side of the Port Authority Terminal.

Glass Mirrors, Frames, Televisions, VCR's, Computer Equipment and Auto Glass must be in protective cartons. Shipper assumes full risk of loss or damage. The carrier shall not be liable for loss or damage.
