Since 2006, when Joel kicked off a worldwide tour that took him through North America, Europe, South Africa, Australia and Japan, nearly a million people have seen the superstar return to the stage in peak form, delivering more than two hours of hits each night. The tour continues to break house records along the way.

In February 2007, as a Valentine's Day present to his wife, Joel released All My Life, the first new pop music since his five times platinum, Grammy-nominated album, River of Dreams, was released in 1993. The end of the year saw the live debut of the recently penned Christmas in Fallujah, an unflinching and poignant take on what it is like to be a member of the military right now.

As part of his long-term commitment to music education, Joel has launched an ongoing initiative to provide gifts of seed money, musical scholarships, and endowments to a variety of East Coast colleges, universities, and music schools.
